This is the second Test & Tune of the season and leads into the 2018 Meremere Dragway Competition Series #2 (set for Sunday 18th November).

There is no format for racing on Saturday, you come out and do your burnout, launch, pass or all the above when you’re ready.  This event is open to all Street Legal and Competition vehicles alike.  

Please note that for all Competition vehicles (no warrant, no rego and running 10.99 and quicker) you must have a license and Tech Inspection before you can take to the track. Please contact the office on 0800 372 472 if you are unsure on how to obtain a license or tech inspection.

Street Legal vehicles must have WOF, registration and civil drivers license (minimum Restricted license for cars and if you’re biker, you can race on a Learner as long as your bike is on the LAMS approved bike list).

Racers – please have your drivers license, drag racing license, log book and IHRA NZ membership card (if applicable) with you when you come to Race Entry.

GROUP 1 & GROUP 2 RACERS: Please ensure your vehicle has been weighed and that this weight is recorded in the relevant section of your log book before coming to Race Entry.

Race Entry (covers entry for both Saturday & Sunday): 
Competition Classes = $200 ($170 with IHRA NZ membership)
Comp Bike & Super Sedan = $180 ($150 with IHRA NZ membership)
Screamin’ Eagles, Super Street and Modified Bike = $140 ($110 with IHRA NZ membership)
Junior Dragster and Teen Racers = $30 (FREE with IHRA NZ membership)

Race Entry for running one day only (either Saturday OR Sunday): 
Competition Classes = $140 ($120 with IHRA NZ membership)
Comp Bike & Super Sedan = $120 ($100 with IHRA NZ membership)
Screamin’ Eagles, Super Street and Modified Bike = $80 ($60 with IHRA NZ membership)
Junior Dragster and Teen Racers = $20 (FREE with IHRA NZ membership)

Gate Entry Saturday = $10
Gate Entry Sunday = $20
Kids under 12 FREE 

Camping is available at track for racers and crew only.  Please camp in the allocated camping area. NO camping in the Pits.
