Athol “The Flying Kiwi” Williams is one of New Zealand’s most successful drag racers.  He spent the best part of 2007, 2008 and 2009 campaigning the Top Fuel Drag Bike in Australia’s ANDRA series. And he conquered it in the 2008/2009 season.  Nothing better than a Kiwi beating a whole bunch of Aussies on their own soil…and there’s bloody lots of it…soil that is. Athol made his debut back in New Zealand in the 2014 Nitro Shootout at Meremere Dragway and will be out entertaining again this January 10, 2015 at The ROCK FM Nitro Shootout.  If you want to see a man fly down the quarter mile with a nitro flame out his backside, this is the only place you’ll catch it in New Zealand.
