Karen Hay is became New Zealand’s quickest (time) and fastest (speed) woman on Sunday 6th April 2014 during the 2014 Kent Valley Nostalgia Drags hosted by Bay Rodders Tauranga at Meremere Dragway.  

She was the rain affected 2013 NZ Nationals Champion in Competition class.

She also currently holds three class records in Group 2 Competition

BB/A – 6.645 @ 206.83mph
